Sunrise Health Region confirmed in a recent release that a regular rotation of visiting physicians and primary health services are once again available in Norquay and Invermay.

In Norquay, starting on October 5, client appointments will be available every second Wednesday. Residents may meet with Dr. Sirous Jafarian or Dr. Victor Obiora.

In Invermay, clients may make appointments with Dr. Hamed Afshari or Dr. Seema Ahmed every second Wednesday beginning October 12.

“Having a full complement of physicians and nurse practitioners in Canora and Norquay has enabled the health region to improve access to primary health care services for residents in Invermay and Norquay, closer to home,” said Jacquie Holzmann, director of integrated primary health services.

All physicians who are practicing in the Canora Health and Wellness Centre are also accepting new patients at this time. Clients can book appointments with any physician by calling the Canora Health and Wellness Centre or the Norquay Primary Health Office.
