Many activities held during Musher Rendezvous

( see photo gallery below ) The main attraction at the annual Preeceville and District Musher Rendezvous held at the Preeceville Skating Arena from February 3, 4 and 5 were dog sled races but many other activities focused on fun were also held.

            The main attraction at the annual Preeceville and District Musher Rendezvous held at the Preeceville Skating Arena from February 3, 4 and 5 were dog sled races but many other activities focused on fun were also held.

            A talent show with 15 entries kicked off the weekend followed by a full day of children's activities, two suppers and a dance with music by DJ Kanada-Sound Addition Services. A pancake breakfast was held at the Legion Hall served by the Preeceville Lionesses. The awards presentations concluded the weekend,

            There was a recreation hockey tournament with four teams competing. Each team played in a round robin.

            Rae Rosenkerr and Lloyd Smith provided horse-drawn wagon rides. Children's activities included outhouse races, snowhill fun, crokicurl (crokinole curling) and go cart races. There were also snowshoes available for outdoor entertainment. The outhouse races provided candy as well as packages of toilet paper as the winning trophy.

            Many items were available at the raffle table and for the silent auction.
