Appointments made by RM of Preeceville council

The Rural Municipality of Preeceville announced the 2015-16 committee and board appointments at the November 12 meeting of council, according to Lisa Peterson, administer.

The reeve and entire council were all appointed as fire rangers and finance committees.

Rick Pristie, reeve, was appointed to the following committees: municipal workshop, road, public works, Occupational Health and Safety, EMO North East Area Transportation Planning and Cowessess liaison.

Corwin Tonn, Division one councillor, was appointed to following committees and boards: road, Occupational Health and Saftey, EMO Planning, Preeceville Arena board, local A.D.D board and weed inspector and to the Sturgis and District Regional Park at the Lady Lake site.

Darcy Rediger, Division two councillor, was appointed to following committees: municipal workshop, doctor incentive and recruitment, integrated health facility fundraising, Preeceville recreation board, Sturgis and District Fire Co-operative, Sturgis and District Regional Park at the Lady Lake site, Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association, Parkland Regional Waste Management Authority (alternate), Local ADD board and weed inspector and Ketchen Waterworks.

Lawrence Hamilton, Division three councillor, was appointed to the following committees and boards: public works, bylaw, Parkland Regional Waste Management Authority, North East Area Transportation Planning, Local ADD board and weed inspector, Sturgis and District Fire Co-operative, Sturgis recreation board and Sturgis and District Regional Park at the Lady Lake site.

Reg Strand, Division four councillor, was appointed to Parkland Regional Library at the Preeceville branch, Cowessess liaison and Sturgis and District Regional Park at the Lady Lake site.

Reg Yaremchuk, Division five councillor, was appointed to the following committees and boards: public works, road, EMO executive, bylaw-drafting and enforcement, Local ADD board and weed inspector, Norquay and District Vet Services, Sturgis and District Regional Park at the Lady Lake site, Assiniboine Watershed Stewardship Association (alternate) and Cowessess liaison.

James Bodnar, Division six councillor, was appointed to the following boards and committees: bylaw-drafting and enforcement, Endeavour recreation, Local ADD board and weed inspector, EMO executive, doctor incentive and recruitment (alternate), Occupational Health and Safety, Sturgis and District Regional Park at the Lady Lake site, Parkland Regional Library (alternate) and Cowessess liaison.
