Theft of barbecue

The Canora/Sturgis RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in solving the following crime. On June 18 between 12:30 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. a barbeque was stolen from the back yard of a residence on Third Avenue West in Canora. The barbeque was a black four burner, Backyard Grill. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Canora/Sturgis RCMP at 306-563-4700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

Crystal Meth arrest

On June 14, Canora/Sturgis RCMP were investigating a traffic complaint in Preeceville. During the investigation a small amount of Methamphetamine (crystal meth) was seized. A 29-year-old Preeceville man was arrested and charged with resist arrest, possession of a controlled substance and driving without a valid driver’s licence.
