Crossroads Credit Union acknowledges Sturgis students

The Crossroads Credit Union acknowledged and honoured students at the Sturgis Composite School for their hard work and dedication with student recognition awards and gifts.

The Crossroads Credit Union acknowledged and honoured students at the Sturgis Composite School for their hard work and dedication with student recognition awards and gifts.

Sturgis elementary students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 receiving awards were: Matthew Weibe, Avery Mitchell, Zaiden Rudachyk, Paige Galiz, Erl Delatorre, Phoenix Galay, Jake Fedorchuk, Mia Wolfe, Savannah Olson, Tyson Fedorchuk, Connor Borus and Anna Hort.

Sturgis High School students from Grades 6 to 12 who were acknowledged were: Cyrus Stittle, Jainylle Gagnon, Shanae Olson, Trina Correos, Kaiden Masley, Kylie Babiuk, Camron Secundiak, Eloisa Vicente, Shae Peterson, Knute Vallevand, Sierra Meroniuk, JR Puyos, Bo Babiuk and Peyton Secundiak.

"I am a firm believer that one of the greatest achievements in life is being a generous, hard working and passionate person, which is acknowledged by the student recognition award," said Doreen Bochnuik, Crossroads Credit Union representative.

Students chosen for the award are selected because they demonstrate Crossroads values of democratic principles, commitment to the community, pride in what they do, devotion to bettering the lives of others by, being helpful, involvement in the community, being cooperative, displaying team work in and out of school and being passionate about school work and helping others, said Bochnuik.
