Rick Pristie, reeve of the Rural Municipality of Preeceville, is being challenged by Wayne Mastrachuk, said Lisa Peterson, administrator.
At the close of nominations for the municipal election across Saskatchewan on September 21, Corwin Tonn was unopposed and will remain councillor for Div. 1.
Lawrence Hamilton was elected by acclamation for Div. 3.
Reg Yaremchuk was elected by acclamation for Div. 5.
Rate payers will have their opportunity to vote for reeve on October 26.
