The Preeceville Recreation Board is trying to bring more holiday spirit to The Town of Preeceville, stated Andrea Tonn, Town of Preeceville Recreation Director.

The Recreation Board, with the help of sponsoring businesses, will be holding a contest that will give residents an opportunity to enter their name and home to be decorated for free with exterior Christmas decorations.

"It is a unique way to get residents into the Christmas spirit, instilling a sense of pride and fun at the same time," said Tonn.

"Passports will be mailed to town residents with a list of participating businesses. The passports must be taken to participating businesses to be stamped. A fully stamped passport is required in order to be put in the draw box. Once completed the passports can be dropped off or mailed to the Preeceville Town Office where they will be entered to win."

This contest is available to in-town residents only. Decorations will be set up and taken down by the Recreation Board and all decorations will remain the property of the Preeceville Recreation Board.

The contest starts once passports arrive in the mail and ends on November 30, when the draw will take place at the Town Office.
