Students recognized in Sturgis

The Crossroads Credit Union acknowledged Kindergarten to Grade 5 students at the Sturgis Elementary school for their achievements throughout the school year. Doreen Bochniuk, Credit Union representative, made the presentations on June 16.

The Crossroads Credit Union acknowledged Kindergarten to Grade 5 students at the Sturgis Elementary school for their achievements throughout the school year. Doreen Bochniuk, Credit Union representative, made the presentations on June 16.

“Most of you probably remember seeing me each month last year, but this year with the help of Brad Cameron, principal we came up with a different program,” said Bochniuk.

The Crossroads Student Recognition Award recognizes two students from each classroom for being kind, courteous and polite. The teachers selected students they thought who worked hard and helped others in the classroom and playground, Bochniuk said.

Students acknowledged from Kindergarten to Grade 5 were: Makayla Johnson, Darian Serdachny, Tristen Beatty, Emma Olson, Bracyn Konkel, Elle Wiebe, Kimmuel Albarracin, Nevaeh Rudachuk, Jayden Fedorchuk, Bailey Peterson, Skylar Ryczak and Kourtney Gregory.
