The Town of Preeceville mayor and councillors released a letter to its residents addressing the COVID-19 epidemic on March 16. Effective March 16 due to concerns over COVID-19 the Town of Preeceville will be taking precautionary measures.

Effective March 16 due to concerns over COVID-19 the Town of Preeceville will be taking precautionary measures.

All recreation and social facilities will be closed to the public until further notice. This includes the Preeceville Skating Arena, the Preeceville Community Legion Hall and Preeceville Rec Centre (Studio Dance One and Preeceville Nursery School areas only). All community programs operating out of these facilities will be postponed.

Public access to the Town Office will also be limited until further notice. Please refrain from attending the Town Office. Those who require assistance are asked to please call 306-547-2810 or email preeceville@sasktel.net. Bill payments may be dropped in the drop box or made through online services. Water metre reading may be dropped in the drop box, phoned in or submitted through the website, www.townofpreecevile.ca.

The Town of Preeceville will provide updates to these precautionary measures as they become available. All residents are encouraged to visit www. Saskatchewan.ca/coronavirus for the current provincial guidelines and latest information regarding COVID-19.

Effective March 17, the Preeceville Public Library will be closed to the public until further notice. Those who require assistance, please call 306-547-3444.during regular operating hours.
