January 6, 1977-The Parkland Regional Library has announced that the RM of Hazel Dell and the hamlet of Westview have joined the regional library system.

 

September 8, 1977- A cow survived when it was struck by a 1964 car driven by Harvey Karcha along a gravel road 10 miles north of Preeceville, two miles west and one mile south.

 

August 28, 1975- A total of 7,685 feet was paved in Preeceville by Asphalt Services.

 

May 17, 1973- Aurora Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star celebrated its 25th anniversary in Preeceville.

 

November 10, 1977- Work was underway on the extension to SaskTel’s community dial offices at Sturgis and Preeceville.
