April 26, 1973- Dennis Osatiuk of Preeceville was elected president of the new North Eastern Saskatchewan Senior Baseball League.

 

April 16, 1971- The Royal Canadian Legion zone rally was held in Sturgis with branch members from Preeceville, Lintlaw, Kelvington, Endeavour and Sturgis all in attendance.

 

June 2, 1977- A cottage owners’ group at Crystal Lake is planning a meeting to lower the level of the water at the lake and to improve access to cottages.

 

June 30, 1977- Maj. R.L. Sawchuk, originally of Endeavour, has assumed duties of the commanding officer at the Canadian Forces Station at Beaverlodge near Trumpeter, Alberta.

 

November 29, 1979- There were 126 moose reported at the November checking station at Usherville.

 

February 27, 1969- Twenty-six rinks were entered in the ladies’ bonspiel at Preeceville.

 

September 12, 1974- Operations were stalled at the Preeceville branch of the Saskatchewan Dairy Producers Co-op building as the result of a fire.

 

April 8, 1971- A walk-a-thon from Preeceville to Endeavour raised $1,400.

 

June 29, 1972- Tom Meester of Preeceville, owner of Dutch Oven Bakery in Preeceville, sold the bakery to Nick Groot of Lloydminster.
