October 30, 1969-The Preeceville Lions Club donated $1,500 to defray the cost of putting aluminum siding on the bottom half of the skating rink in Preeceville.

 

April 10, 1969-Harold Abrahamson was elected president of the Preeceville Horse Shoe Club.

 

May 18, 1978-Mr. and Mrs. Dave Masters and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Stubbington were honoured at a farewell party at the Preeceville Legion Hall.

 

October 12, 1972-Preeceville Air Cadet squadron held its annual banquet.

 

January 11, 1979-Donald Robbie of Preeceville accepted the position of elevator agent at the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool elevator in Hinchcliffe.

 

January 4, 1979-The feed mill in Preeceville was unlawfully entered and several items were stolen and the Sturgis detachment of the RCMP was asking for the public’s help in supplying any information that would help in the police investigation.
