Lioness Club supports Canora and District Benevolent Fund

On June 14, The Canora Wheatland Lioness Club presented the Canora and District Benevolent Fund Association with a cheque for $2,222, which was raised during the recent Comeback King Show featuring tributes to Tom Jones and Elvis Presley.

On June 14, The Canora Wheatland Lioness Club presented the Canora and District Benevolent Fund Association with a cheque for $2,222, which was raised during the recent Comeback King Show featuring tributes to Tom Jones and Elvis Presley. The fundraising included 16 sponsorships from businesses and individuals and 10 donations. From left, were: Lioness members Julia Westerman, Sharon Ciesielski and Cynthia Gazdewich (president), who presented the cheque to Tammy Bobyk-Jacquemart (Benevolent Fund president.) Also from the Benevolent fund were Val Morozoff (treasurer) and Chris Bilsky (director.)
