The Norquay and Sturgis combined senior girls’ volleyball team hosted a home tournament at the Sturgis Composite School on September 6 and 7.
The tournament featured six teams: Sturgis, Kamsack, Ituna, Canora, Leroy and Sacred Heart.

"The girls placed sixth overall in the tournament," said Stacey Rubletz, coach. " The girls defeated Ituna two games straight in the final game for the team. Leroy placed first and Canora placed second in the tournament," stated Rubletz. 'We have a very young team with only three Grade 12 players out of the 15 players who are on the team."
