Children in the Sturgis area have welcomed the opportunity to play ball once again.
The Sturgis minor ball committee established teams of young players in T-ball, rookie, mosquito, peewee and bantam levels.
“Practices are held at the Sturgis Sportsgrounds,” said Kipp Bayer, organizer.
Coaches are Tara Romanchuk for T-ball; Stacey Boychuk for rookie; Kerrie Smith, 11 and under; Kipp Bayer, 13 and under, and for 15 and under, the coaches are Wes Jaeb and Derek Ryczak.
